It's all in my head.

When you love someone, you create an imaginary person of who he is and what you want him to be to you. It's perfect and all, until he does things you don't acknowledge him to be just like how you want him in your head and you become upset and start thinking, "he has changed...", "why did he do this to me... why did he behave like that?", "is he still love me?", etc...

It's all in your head. What you think, you will become. It's crazy but all you need to do is control yourself. Don't be a slave of your negative thoughts. It's okay to sometimes trust your own instincts but don't believe the negative scenario you make and make things a hell lot of more difficult than it already has.

I'm not telling you to stop thinking, I'm just telling you to control your thoughts 😉

Hectic Day, Hectic Mind

Today was pretty hectic. Not with the reality but in my mind. I created a scenario every single day with worry and anxiety, that some people I loved, might leave me any minutes. It scared the hell out of me. The saying, "your mind is your own enemy" was true.

I wanted my scale to always be in perfect harmony and peace. But sometimes, the people I loved were the one who tip my scale off. I hadn't even had enough time to put my scale on balance and here they came again, tipping my scale off.

Some things happened for a reason. I wished I knew what the damn reason was.

Where Am I??!!!

Cast of those negative thoughts... I know I am better than this. I know I can walk through this like I did before. I am normally a bright, positive, happy-go-lucky girl. It's not like the first time that this kind of thing has ever happened to me. I have to put my shits together. I have to hold on to my feeling.

I can do this...

That's My Last Fight

Few months ago, I was walking alone. You then showed up and offered yourself for me to walk with you. It was nice and all until suddenly you turned left without my knowing. I only realized that when you were not by my side. I waited for you to come back by stopped walking at the point where you left me, but then I saw you came back with another person. I asked what's the meaning of this? You couldn't answer. Then I walked away.

Now you are looking for me from behind and call me back to you so we can walk together. I can only smile poorly at you. I can't lie to myself because I do still want to walk with you, but that time when I was waiting for you and you were not there, but ended up showing up with another person and couldn't even explain to me the reason, that was my last fight for you. If you still want to walk with me, you've got to catch up and run after me. Remember, I came up with a price.

ICT (College-retaled Assignment)

This is a personal blog. I now attended a logistics class in my area (I took a leave of absence from my law class and will continue it after I finish this one), and there is a subject, named ICT. I have been in the class from November 2014 and haven't posted anything about my attendance of this class in this blog so I guess this is a prime post, cough.

So today's post is about ICT. This post is for the mid-term test scores. My lecturer gave a task for us to create a blog and post something ICT-related in it. I was thinking of making a new blog but then I thought it was such a waste of time and beside, I already have a blog so a post about something not-so-personal (cough) is okay in a personal-blog, right?

Okay so, here's what I decided to post. Enjoy...

Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is often used as an extended synonym for information technology (IT), but is a more specific term that stresses the role of unified communications and the integration of telecommunications (telephone lines and wireless signals), computers as well as necessary enterprise software, middleware, storage, and audio-visual systems, which enable users to access, store, transmit, and manipulate information.

The term ICT is also used to refer to the convergence of audio-visual and telephone networks with computer networks through a single cabling or link system. There are large economic incentives (huge cost savings due to elimination of the telephone network) to merge the telephone network with the computer network system using a single unified system of cabling, signal distribution and management.

History of the Term

The phrase Information and Communication Technology has been used by academic researchers since the 1980s, and the term ICT became popular after it was used in a report to the UK government by Dennis Stevenson in 1997 and in the revised National Curriculum for England, Wales and Northern Ireland in 2000. But in 2012, the Royal Society recommended that the term ICT should no longer be used in British schools "as it has attracted too many negative connotations", and with effect from 2014 the National Curriculum was changed to use the word computing reflecting the addition of computer programming to the curriculum.  A leading group of universities consider ICT to be a soft subject and advise students against studying A-level ICT, preferring instead A-level Computer Science.

Global Costs of IT
The money spent on IT worldwide has been most recently estimated as US $3.5 trillion and is currently growing at 5% per year – doubling every 15 years. The 2014 IT budget of US federal government is nearly $82 billion.  IT costs, as a percentage of corporate revenue, have grown 50% since 2002, putting a strain on IT budgets. When looking at current companies’ IT budgets, 75% are recurrent costs, used to “keep the lights on” in the IT department, and 25% are cost of new initiatives for technology development.
The average IT budget has the following breakdown:

  • 31% personnel costs (internal)
  • 29% software costs (external/purchasing category)
  • 26% hardware costs (external/purchasing category)
  • 14% costs of external service providers (external/services).

ICT Development Index

The ICT Development Index compares the level of ICT use and access across the world.

The WSIS Process and ICT Development Goals

On 21 December 2001, the United Nations General Assembly approved Resolution 56/183, endorsing the holding of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing today's information society. According to this resolution, the General Assembly related the Summit to the United Nations Millennium Declaration's goal of implementing ICT to achieve Millennium Development Goals. It also emphasized a multi-stakeholder approach to achieve these goals, using all stakeholders including civil society and the private sector, in addition to governments.

Apocalyptica

I have heard this band long time ago but never actually paid any attention to them, not until my sister showed them to me again, with this song...

This is a masterpiece...

Ps. The band consists of four members, classically trained cellists; Eicca Toppinen, Paavo Lötjönen, and Perttu Kivilaakso and drummer Mikko Sirén. They are Finnish band metal from Helsinki, formed in 1993, the year I was born on, sigh. The band HAS NO vocalist. They only borrow singer from another band if THEY FEEL LIKE IT, pfft.

Here's the lyrics;

[Ville]
I'm giving up the ghost of love
And a shadow is cast on devotion

[Lauri]
She is the one that I adore
Queen of my silent suffocation

[Both]
Break this bittersweet spell on me
Lost in the arms of destiny

[Ville]
Bittersweet

[Lauri]
I won't give up
I'm possessed by her

[Ville]
I'm bearing a cross
She's turned into my curse

[Both]
Break this bittersweet spell on me
Lost in the arms of destiny

[Lauri]
Bittersweet
I want you

[Ville]
Oh how I wanted you

[Lauri]
And I need you

[Ville]
Oh how I needed you

[Both]
Break this bittersweet spell on me
Lost in the arms of destiny

This is the combination of Low Voice and High Voice. For me though, the song represents the raw love and passionate love. It's like a duet between desperation and obsession. All in all, this song is fucking awesome.
